Mild Steel Nuts and Bolts are made up of a mild steel or low carbon steel material. The low carbon or mild steel materials have good ductility and hardness together but have less strength than the ordinary stainless steels. The SS400 Mild Steel Steel Rivets and other fasteners are supplied and produced by Suraj Metal Corporation in various types, grades and scales.
These plain carbon steel has no more than 2% of carbon in the total composition. The Mild Steel Bolts are used in high wear and tear systems to fit components together. The fasteners have different types. The AISI 1018 Mild Steel Hex Bolt and other specifications define the mechanical properties and dimensions of the fasteners. The hex bolt is one of the most commonly used fasteners. The A36 Mild Steel Bolts and Nuts come in different dimensions, sizes and lengths and can be used in various application types. There are also different finishes to these fasteners such as the Galvanised Mild Steel threaded rod, polished, black oxide and many others. These finishes increase the corrosion resistance and lifespan of the different fasteners. The Black Mild Steel stud bolt can withstand general atmospheric corrosion for long time as the oxide layer prevents further oxidation and rusting.
